Bell Shoals Baptist Church to host Empowered Conference

Bell Shoals Baptist Church of Brandon is pleased to host the Empowered Conference March 14 – 16. The conference is designed to offer a time of personal spiritual revival and renewal. Empowered will include guest speakers from the most influential leaders in the church today. Among those speaking is Ergun Caner. Raised as the son of a Muslim leader in Turkey, Caner became a Christian shortly before entering college. A public speaker, author and apologist, Caner has debated religious leaders in thirteen countries and thirty-five states. He currently serves as president of the Liberty University Theological Seminary. Other speakers include James Merritt, Don Wilton, Roc Collins and evangelist Junior Hill.The Conference begins Sunday, March 14 with Junior Hill preaching in both the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services. Hill will also preach at a special 6 p.m. service Sunday night. On Monday, the church will host a dinner buffet ($5 for adults, $3.50 for children, 12 and under) from 5–6:30 p.m. with the conference service beginning at 6:45 p.m. Worship will be led by Doug Crawley, Pastor of Music and Worship at Bell Shoals Baptist Church and feature speakers James Merritt, pastor of Cross Pointe Church in Duluth, GA, and Don Wilton, pastor of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg, SC. Tuesday night begins with another family meal at 5 p.m. with Worship beginning again at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday’s speakers will be Roc Collins, pastor of Indian Springs Baptist Church in Kingsport, TN, and Ergun Caner, president of the Liberty University Theological Seminary.Bell Shoals Baptist Church is located at 2102 Bell Shoals Road in Brandon.
