His opponent will be the current representative, 27-year-old Rachel Burgin who has held the position for two years after the representative she worked for as a legislative aide, Trey Traviesa declined a reelection bid. “Our district needs a leader who can develop and successfully implement legislation that will address critical issues such as our deteriorating school system, our unemployment rate and the seemingly rampant wasteful spending of our tax dollars,” said Johnson.
