The Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce will host its 14th Annual Golf Classic on Saturday, October 30 at Club Renaissance, located at 2121 S. Pebble Beach Blvd. in Sun City Center.
Registration begins at 6:45 a.m. followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Following the tournament, golfers will enjoy lunch, an awards ceremony and door prize drawings.
The field is open to 144 golfers and the $85 entry fee per person includes cart and greens fees, lunch, on-course snacks, margarita bar and other beverages, plus two door prize tickets.
“This is always one of our most popular events, so register early,” says Chamber Executive Director Joanne Gadek.
Prizes will be awarded for first and second place, longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin. Some of this year’s prizes include a $10,000 hole-in-one prize, plus fabulous trips for hole-in-one shots on other Par 3s.
Businesses interested in becoming involved in the Apollo Beach Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic can sign up for one of the many sponsorship opportunities including hole sponsorship and others. All sponsorship levels include signage on a hole, plus an ad in the tournament program. Higher levels of sponsorship include player entries and additional recognition.
Circles Bar & Grill and J.J. Taylor Distributing have already signed on as the beverage cart sponsor.
