As Novemberfest celebrates its 41 year, families can expect the return of its popular rides, delicious food, carnival games, raffle prizes as well as local entertainment daily. “This is a major fundraising event for our church, school and religious education programs,” says RJ Brauneker, Novemberfest chairman. “On Thursday November 11 there will be a special Veterans Day celebration honoring those who have served our country. We will also have auditions for Novemberfest Idol with the grand prize for the top two finalists receiving recording sessions by Crystal Blue Sound Studios.”

Children and adults of all ages can enjoy burgers, BBQ, philly cheese steaks, latin food, lots of desserts and more under the big top tent. “There will also be a variety of thrill rides for the thrill seekers; kiddie rides for the first-timers and rides for those in between,” says Brauneker.

Novemberfest wrist bands for unlimited rides throughout the day are now on sale at the Nativity school and church office for $16 until November 8. After the deadline, armbands can only be purchased on the carnival grounds for $22.

According to Brauneker, more than 10,000 volunteer hours go into making Novemberfest a success. “But we can always use more volunteers and are also in need of refrigerators, gas stoves, microwaves and fryers that anyone may want to loan us to use,” says Brauneker.
