Kids Community College will open a new child care center at 10030 Mathog Rd. in Riverview, just west of the Lowe’s Home Improvement Center near Gibsonton Dr. and Hwy. 301. The brand new, 5,000 sq. ft. facility, located on 4.5 acres, will be home to only 75 select student families and will provide high-quality care for children 6 weeks to 5 years (preschool) and up to age 12 (after school). The preschool will feature a year-round extended day program from 6:45 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. The campus will be a NAC nationally accredited School Readiness Provider, and offer the Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) during the school year and summer.

“We dedicate ourselves to the well-being and educational success of every child in our care,” said Vandrese Williams, franchise owner of the new Kids Community College Riverview South Preschool. “It is our mission to deliver top-rated high-quality care giving services while providing higher learning, community enrichment, and promoting cultural diversity.”

Williams is also the owner of the Kids Community College Lake Saint Charles Preschool, which has received many accolades, including two time winner of The Best Preschool in Riverview, three time winner of the Best Places to Work award, three time perfect VPK School Readiness Score recipient, and maintains a 4-Star rating with the Quality Counts for Kids program.

“My husband and I have always been impressed with the Kids Community College educational system, even when our own children attended the preschool years ago. KCC is a product we know, trust, and believe in. We are excited to expand our business with our second KCC franchise,” said Williams.

The Kid’s Community College Riverview South preschool introduces students to computer technology, music and movement, and the Spanish language. In addition, separate playgrounds are offered, which are securely fenced and furnished with age appropriate playground equipment that will challenge and thrill students of every age. Students will receive premiere care giving by credentialed professors who incorporate individualized instruction within the low student/professor ratio classrooms. Professors facilitate development, education, and instructional experiences through KCCs 1st Degree Learning System that maximizes the effective use of strengths and target areas of developmental need to ensure optimal success of every student.

A Mini-Parade was recently held where (KCC) Charter School students and supporters walked to the new campus for a Ribbon Cutting/Flag Raising Ceremony for the new facility.

Families can register their children online at www.kidscc.org/Campus/RiverviewSouthPreschool. The anticipated opening date for the new preschool center is August 20.
