The Beaux Arts Gallery in the Winthrop Town Centre in Riverview is a place where art is created, artists are inspired and art is admired. For the past five years, Bryant Martinez, Winthrop Town Artist, Debra Bryant, Gallery Director and Mike Bryant, photographer, have been putting together fantastic art exhibits, advocating for the arts and hosting Thursday Night Live!

These monthly gallery events not only give the community an opportunity to see unique and original artwork of local and regional artists, but also an opportunity to meet the artist. It is also a place where the youngest artists in the community can participate in a real juried art show when they participate in the Annual Small Works Art Show held in December.

Martinez said, “The Gallery is for fine arts shows, hosting events such as the Children’s Small Arts Show and promoting the annual Winthrop Arts Festival. It is also a place where dreaming artists can meet and turn their dreams into reality.”

Dreams for artists are turned into reality when their art is displayed and admired by art lovers.

2013 is going to be a great year for art. According to Debra Bryant, “We have lots of ideas for the Thursday Night Live! exhibits this coming year. This includes an exhibit of an exceptional oil artist from Sun City Center, our quarterly PhotoCulture exhibit and much more.” PhotoCulture is a unique blending of photographers who create art around a centralized theme that promotes community involvement and sparks art inspired conversation.

Make plans to stop by the Beaux Arts Gallery at their next Thursday Night Live! on Thursday, January 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. The gallery is located at 11252 Winthrop Main St. in Riverview. For more information, please call 438-3844 or visit them on Facebook at Beaux-Art-Gallery.
