Air Force Staff Sgt. and father of three, Kevin Rocha, never knew that 2013 was going to get off to such a great start. But, when Brandon Honda owner, John Marazzi, called him on the phone on New Year’s Eve and told him he had just won a brand new Honda Accord, he realized this year was going to shape up just fine.
Rocha entered to win after seeing the contest marketed at his dealership Brandon Honda after he and his wife bought a new Honda Accord in the fall.
“When I bought the new Accord, I entered into a giveaway contest to win a 2013 Accord and got a call from the owner of Brandon Honda and I was the winner,” said Rocha. “What a great way to finish out the year!”
Brandon Honda owner Marazzi was thrilled with the campaign. “He was an awesome winner,” said Marazzi. “We had more than 2,000 people download the app and the campaign was a great success.”
Rocha and wife, Tiffany, brought their three children to the dealership to receive the prize, a 2013, Honda Accord LX with a value of $22,000.
Brandon Honda ran its contest through December 31 and had thousands of entries. Marazzi called Rocha personally and a recording of the call is now available on Brandon Honda’s Facebook page.
For the contest, everyone who downloaded and created an account for Brandon Honda’s new app for iPhone and Android smart phones were automatically entered to win.
