The Trey Curry Foundation is proud to present the 6th Annual Vine to Wine on Friday, May 10 at The Regent located at 6437 Watson Rd. in Riverview from 7-10 p.m. Funds raised at the event directly benefit A Kid’s Place. Advance tickets are $60.00. After April 30, ticket price will increase to $75.00.

Vine to Wine is a food and wine tasting experience. Gourmet food is provided by Chef Dave West of the Rolling Pin Kitchen Emporium. Wines are provided by Premier Beverage. Paul Thomasson of Extravaganza Productions is developing a new and exciting feel for the room this year.

“Vine to Wine is a great opportunity for people to socialize, discover exceptional delicacies by Chef Dave West and sample wonderful wines provided by Premiere Beverage. The South County Career Center will once again wow you with their fabulous desserts,” said Terry Curry of the Trey Curry Foundation.

In addition to the great food, fine wines and scrumptious desserts, guests will have a chance to bid on a wide array of wonderful items such as a fishing trip to either Tampa or Key West courtesy of Bill Currie Ford; roundtrip airfare from Southwest Airlines, three days, two nights at The Resort and Club at Little Harbor in Ruskin, framed and autographed Tampa Bay Lightning gear, high end wines, jewelry and more.

The Trey Curry Foundation was founded in 2008 in honor and memory of Terry and Clif Curry’s son, Trey. “He was a lover of life, family and friends. Our foundation seeks to keep his spirit and love for the community alive by raising money for less fortunate families and children in the greater Brandon area. Benefactors of our foundation include Brandon Y, A Kids Place, The Sylvia Thomas Center and ECHO,” said Curry.

A Kid’s Place, located at 1715 Lithia Pinecrest Rd. in Brandon is a state of the art residential care facility that provides a safe and loving environment for children from birth to 17 years of age who have been removed from their home due to abuse, abandonment or neglect. A Kid’s Place is unique in that it strives to keep families intact.

In 2012 a house at A Kids Place was named and dedicated in honor of Trey Curry. “Each house is designed to accommodate 12 children,” explained Curry.
