“To have a positive impact on other’s lives made everything I had been through worth it,” quotes local author Angela Schaefers. This inspiring author certainly impacts others, and does this through personal business and a ministry called Your Story Matters.

“Our mission is to change the world one story at a time by sharing encouraging and inspiring stories about people around the world, including my own story.” Schaefers runs the business by making speeches, coaching and consulting women, writing books, and producing and hosting her radio show.

Although she is currently a homeowner in Apollo Beach, this entrepreneur travels throughout the US and abroad to speak, interview, and conduct workshops about her book. Affiliated with Global Christian Ministry Forum International and Onething Campus and Prayer Center in Brandon, Schaefers is eager to help by conducting pre-planned workshops for groups or organizations across Tampa. This author has done this for city recreation departments, high schools, and corporate environments in the past.

Your Story Matters: You Matter, A guide to healing, learning from and sharing your story required approximately one year of writing and production time. “I was inspired to write this book by the many people who asked why their story mattered, or why they should share their story.” Schaefers does workshops utilizing the book worldwide. This book is intended to encourage both men and women readers, ages teen and up.

Not only is Schaefers an accomplished speaker and writer, but also a cancer survivor. After living with cancer for the past ten years, she decided to write about her cancer journey as well, in a book called Cancer Doesn’t Come Wrapped in a Pretty Ribbon. “Next year I intend to complete my second memoir More Grace- Your Story Matters.”
