The Eastern Hillsborough Art Guild (EHAG) will present its 5th Annual Art at the Cottage (formerly known as Art in the Park) on Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This year the event will be held at The Cottage located at 1308 S. Collins St. in Plant City.

This is a great family event where you get to meet talented local artists in a wonderful setting. Many of the artists who will display their works of art are members of EHAG. Paula Andra Aigner, Vice President of EHAG said, “This is the one time of the year where the function is primarily to make money for the individual members of EHAG.” Aigner added, “Many of our members are professional artists who show their work or have some sort of art related business. Our members have galleries, professional art studios, framing shops, art/antique shops. Many show their work, freelance and teach art classes in the community.”

Richard Wagoner, an oil and acrylic artist said, “I welcome the opportunity to exhibit publicly and share my art with local art lovers. This is a great time of the year to show and sell new art before the holiday shopping season begins.” Wagoner added, “As a participating artist for the last four years, I am looking forward to Art at the Cottage because the cottage garden is a perfect setting for artists of all media.”

In addition to art from the members of EHAG, Art at the Cottage will also feature other local exhibitors of arts and crafts, food for sale and a bake sale. Local crafters and exhibitors can be a part of this event by renting a booth for just $10.
