Honor Flight of West Central Florida is taking 80 World War II veterans to Washington D.C. on Tuesday, October 29 for the day to visit the memorials that honor them and their service to our country.
Please join local active military, veterans, family and friends for a hero’s welcome home as our veterans return to the St Pete-Clearwater International Airport located at 14700 Terminal Blvd in Clearwater that evening at 8:45 p.m. The welcome home celebration will be in the baggage claim facility. The public is invited to attend this free event. This welcome home will be the last one of the season until flights start again in the spring.
