Family law often requires extra care and consideration because of the emotional aspects involved in dissolving marriages, child custody and property division. Attorney Judd Bean is not your typical attorney, having gained a unique perspective working worldwide in many areas of law.

“When you are involved in a divorce, emotions and feelings can be deeply intertwined in every aspect,” said Bean. “It’s a very tough process to work through.  Not only are parts of it hard to understand, but it’s even harder to think rationally with the stress, looming uncertainty and gigantic change that’s taking place.”

In addition to divorce cases, Bean’s firm also handles all aspects of family law including child support and custody, modifications, adoption, guardianships, paternity, elder law wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, living wills, contracts, stolen identity issues and more.

He also specializes in substance abuse law under Florida’s Marchman Act, which provides legal advice to family members seeking to get their loved one into a treatment center, assessment and detoxification program.

The Judd Bean Law Firm’s motto from the start has been “Affordable.  Dedicated.  Honest.”  Living by those virtues has brought many blessings to Judd Bean Law.

“We work with all types of clients, forming payment plans that are reasonable and make sense,” said Bean. “Flat-fees are the most commonly used payment setup.  This allows our clients to stay focused on the issues in the case, not having to worry about the amount of time we spend together or watching the clock when we are on the phone together.”

Since Bean was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007, he has received awards work. Most recently, he retired from the United States Air Force JAG Corps after 4 years of service. During this time, Captain Bean earned many distinguished honors including “The Air Force Commendation Medal.”

Bean graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 2004 and later graduated from Saint Thomas University School of Law in 2007, finishing at the top of his class. Bean was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007 and is an active member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association and United States Air Force Court of Appeals, to name a few. Additionally, he is a Notary Public.

Following nearly three decades of living throughout the world, Bean now lives and works in the Brandon area, continuing to put service before self. For more information, visit www.juddbeanlaw.com or call 503-4332. The Judd Bean Law firm is located at 9608 Sunnyoak Dr. in Riverview.
