Designer brand names will be front and center as models showcase clothing and accessories from Life’s Treasures thrift stores at the third annual LifePath Hospice Fashion Show and Boutique on Saturday, February 8 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 South Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.

The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with shopping at the Marketplace Boutique, which features a wide selection of fashions and household items from Life’s Treasures thrift stores, which are operated in support of LifePath Hospice. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the models hit the runway at 12:15 p.m. Guest can continue to shop at the Marketplace Boutique until 2 p.m.

“Savvy shoppers know that Life’s Treasures thrift stores are the place to go for incredible items at great prices,” said Anne Ferrell, LifePath Hospice development coordinator. “All sales support the care provided by LifePath Hospice.”

Life’s Treasures has grown to three stores in Hillsborough County. The original location is at 1918 South Dale Mabry Highway in South Tampa. In 2008, a second location opened at 4802 Gunn Highway in Carrollwood. Last summer, a Brandon store opened at 1335 W. Brandon Boulevard.

Some of the outfits featured at the LifePath Hospice Fashion Show include high-end fashions from Lilly, Ann Taylor, Dana Buchman, St. John and Caché. “Throughout the year, the Life’s Treasures thrift stores receive incredible donations of beautiful clothing and accessories,” said Ferrell. “Our annual fashion show gives us the opportunity to highlight the fashions shoppers can find at Life’s Treasures, raise funds for a good cause and help educate the community about the value of hospice care.”

Blues musicians Josh Lamkin and Nalani Rothrock of the Suncoast Blues Society will serenade guests before and after the fashion show; Chef Rick Ceglio and the students from the award-winning culinary program at Sickles High School return for a second year to cater lunch; and News Channel 8 anchor Gayle Sierens returns for a third year as celebrity emcee.

General admission tickets at $35. This year LifePath Hospice is offering a new VIP ticket level for $100, which includes entry to the popular Marketplace 30 minutes before the official opening and an exclusive Swag Bag containing $25 in Life’s Treasures gift cards.

Sponsors showing support for the LifePath Hospice Fashion Show include H & R Block with a Gold Sponsorship; Symphony Salvage and Proforma DHJ Promotions with a Silver Sponsorship; and Minuteman Press and the Suncoast Blues Society with In-Kind Sponsorships. Event sponsorships are still available.
