Computer services at affordable prices. That is the goal for Joseph LaViola and his newly-opened business, RoLaV Computers.

“I’d rather have 10 customers and charge them $25 each for a simple service than to have one customer and charge $250. In this way volume will dictate success,” he said.

RoLaV Computers offers basic services such as computer repair, system imaging and backup, complete system building, software installation and basic training.

LaViola’s tenure in the IT industry began with help desk support and production control. He worked his way through college working nights and attending classes during the day. Then he climbed the corporate ladder, eventually concentrating on Network Support and Administration.

Originally from New York, LaViola moved to Florida and supplemented his Bachelor’s degree with certification training, the Network+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate. This training outlines the specifics of networking, routing and switching.

LaViola’s passion for working with technology and helping people led him to start RoLaV Computers. “This allows me to establish business relationships as well as friendship relationships, which is very rewarding,” he stated.

When he is not helping people solve their computer problems, LaViola likes to take advantage of the Florida weather and spends time golfing and walking in nature. Recently, he has used his handyman skills to remodel his kitchen with new cabinets and counter tops, completing all of the work himself, including the electrical and plumbing work.

LaVoila comes from a very close-knit Italian family and said he carries that love with him every day. “As you get older and lose parents, grandparents, cousins, you become more aware of what is important in life,” he commented. “While I miss those that I lost, I take what I learned from my grandmother and mother to carry me.”

RoLaV Computers services customers in Brandon, Riverview, Sun City Center and the entire South Shore area. Call 671-0192 for more information.
