Hawthorne Health & Rehab Receives National Recognition

Hawthorne Health & Rehab has been named a five-star facility by CMS, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a federal government agency. To date, Hawthorne is the only five-star facility in the Brandon area.

CMS scores long-term care facilities across the nation on a number of factors. The scoring is updated as annual survey results are provided by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration.

Hawthorne Health & Rehab provides long-term care and bounce back rehabilitation. The Brandon campus also features an Assisted Living Facility, which includes a wing for Garden Court, and Independent Living apartments.

Academic Adventures in Yoga Introduces Children’s YogaBC_academicYoga

Professional Institute 1 of Yoga Ed. will be teaching the Foundations of Teaching Children’s Yoga with a focus on ages 3 to 12, grades Pre-K to fifth grade. The mission at Brandon All-Stars is to teach respect for one another and promote physical fitness and the art of cheerleading. HealthSource of Brandon to Help Ease Funding for Students

 A new school support program founded by HealthSource Chiropractic Progressive Rehab and Wellness will provide funding for local schools, while helping to relieve pain-related issues for students and members of the community.

The program will provide free community health screenings in exchange for $15 donations to schools in Brandon, Riverview, Valrico and FishHawk. The free health screenings (a $189 value) will help track down even the smallest amounts of pain. The $15 donations will be accepted at the office located at 166 E. Bloomingdale Ave. Ste. B until Friday, August 1. Contributors are encouraged to call and set up an appointment.
