For most couples with small children, the traditional night out includes finding a babysitter, figuring out what fun they can squeeze out of a few hours, realizing they can’t run away from home in that time frame, and then just settling with going to the movies. After doing this a few times, movie night loses it’s thrill. For couples who can relate, then it is time to spice things up with a trip to CinéBistro.
CinéBistro in Hyde Park is movie night taken up 10 notches. Opening its doors in October 2009, CinéBistro Hyde Park, a 26,892 sq. ft. facility, offers first-run movies in a luxurious dining atmosphere, complete with a full bar and exquisite chef created menu for guests 21 years of age and older. For an evening movie ticket starting at $15, guests can take their honey to the movies in style. There’s no lack of space, with its six auditoriums that can hold up to 410 guests and enough lounge/bar seating for 40. CinéBistro also offers senior and military discounted tickets Sundays through Thursdays. Menu items include appetizers, fresh salad, sandwiches, entrees, desserts and daily chef’s specials which range from $8.50 to $26.
Sandra Barrett, general manager of CinéBistro Hyde Park, said, “Hyde Park is a perfect location for CinéBistro because we have become not only the neighborhood theatre, but a destination as well. If our guests are parents, we cut the babysitting costs in half with dinner and a movie all in one place.”
Barrett said, “Each Tuesday night through December 16, we show fan favorites on the big screen again. Tickets are only $5, and themed drink specials are available each week.”
CinéBistro offers holiday gift certificates in any amount, and can be purchased online or at the concierge desk. For more information, visit Cobbcine bistro.com/hyde or call 514-8300.
