Delaney Creek Lodge Assisted Living recently celebrated a big milestone. Last month it hosted a party to commemorate 15 years of service to the Brandon community. Executive Director Sue Smith said, “We had a large celebration that included a ribbon cutting, a fantastic feast, such as Prime Rib, a cheesecake bar, champagne, and a chocolate fountain. There was also a special presentation given to our owner. We also had live music, a cellist greeting people at the front door and a strolling clarinet and trumpet player.”

It was an event worth shouting about. Staff also gathered for a Lantern Lift Off to honor all of the residents of Delaney Creek Lodge Assisted Living over the years.

The facility has a long-standing reputation of being community oriented. Not only has it won awards two years in a row for Jade Level Fundraising for Relay for Life (2013 and 2014), but it is also an avid participant in fundraising activities for local organizations, such as the Emergency Care Help Organization in Brandon. Listed in Best of Brandon for the past five years, Delaney Creek Lodge Assisted Living is also a supporter of the American Cancer Society and hosts a benefit bunco dinner to raise funds for veterans to attend Honor Flight.

In keeping with its tradition of servitude, Delaney Creek Lodge continues to offer its services to the community in the forms of various fundraising and community outreach activities.

Delaney Creek Lodge Assisted Living is located at 305 S. Lakewood Dr. in Brandon.
