Tantations exteriorFor the highest quality tanning experience, visit Tantations in Riverview. Tantations features the latest in state-of-the-art indoor tanning systems including a full range of equipment, multiple tanning levels offered as well as spray tanning.

Owned by the Durbin family of Riverview, the business, which recently celebrated its one year anniversary, strives to be top-of-the-line by having the best equipment, products and lotions.

Its seven beds are made by Phoenix Sun, which are one-of-a-kind hand-picked beds. There are also two stand-up tanning booths. There are four levels of tanning and customers are given a full orientation on how to use the equipment and the best care and products to use for various skin types.

Dale Wasdon of Riverview is a regular client of Tantations and said it is by far the best tanning salon around.

“It is the cleanest tanning place that I have ever been to,” he said. “The bulbs are always fresh and the beds are always clean. I have been tanning at gyms and franchises and these beds are a higher grade than the others, and you will never see a bulb out.”

Wasdon added that he sees other benefits to tanning as well.

“After a hard workout, it soothes my muscles, lessening back and neck pain.”

Tantations caters to its clients with no contracts, student discounts and something for everyone. There are even gift certificates available.

The vegan-based spray tanning is suitable for people of all ages and its custom-blend produces a deeper, darker tan rather than the orange look available at other places. “The automated spray tanning booth is the newest model I have seen,” said Wasdon.

At Tantations, staying current with trends in the industry, while keeping prices reasonable is a priority. In December, there will be a specialist visiting to perform Botox and, coming soon, there will be teeth whitening available right in the beds so tanning and whitening can be done simultaneously.

Tantations is located in Riverview Town Center at 10455 Gibsonton Dr. (on the southeast corner of U.S. Hwy. 301). Visit Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9-6 p.m. on Saturday. Call 741-1144.
