Ellel Ministries was started by Peter Horrobin in 1986 near Manchester, England in a small township called Ellel, thus the name Ellel Ministries. Ellel also means “toward God” in Hebrew and “love flowing outward” in Mandarin.

“These are good descriptors of the ministries,” said Matt Moore, national director of Ellel Ministries USA. “It is the love of God flowing outward through the ministry that helps bring people closer in their personal relationship with God.”

Horrobin in now the International Director of Ellel Ministries. He and his wife, Fiona, lead what is now a worldwide healing and discipleship ministry.

“They anticipated that Ellel would be a small ministry for their region in Northern England to help those who needed prayer for emotional, spiritual and physical problems,” Moore said. “Little did they know that 30 years later the ministry would have centers in 26 countries and every continent except Antartica.”

Ellel Ministries will be hosting their Healing The One New Man Conference from September 28- October 2 at the Inn at Little Harbor in Ruskin.

“Peter and Fiona Horrobin will be back in the states to be speakers at our upcoming conference,” Moore said.

This conference will address how God’s healing in individuals will release the fullness of his purpose for the one new man in Jesus and how the realization of the one new man will further release Jesus’ healing in individuals.

“We will teach about the keys to healing that the Lord has shown in the ministry over the years,” Moore said.“The Lord has shown us how to pray effectively for people to be restored from brokenness so they can be who God created them to be and enter into the destiny that he planned for them.”

Moore hopes that the conference will begin to awaken attendees to the fullness of God’s plan for healing individuals as well as for restoring unity among groups of people. “We hope to equip people to pray and minister in a way that facilitates God’s plan for a purified, restored and unified body of believers from all races and background,” Moore said.
