“We’ve been in the community and worshiping for just over three years. OneChurch currently meets at the Hillsborough Community College in Tampa,” said Pastor Ericka White. OneChurch is a non-denominational church that defines itself as, “Many Members, One Body, OneChurch.”

Pastor White and her husband, Pastor Jermaine White, moved to Florida in 2007 when they started a radio broadcast and video webcast ministry in Jacksonville. They also served at The Potter’s House International Ministries under Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin.

In 2012, they launched OneChurch in Tampa with a small group of five members. Since then, the church has grown to an average attendance of 75 each Sunday. The Whites desire to provide an uplifting service with singing and sound preaching.

“When you come to OneChurch, you can expect people to greet you with love. It’s a very warm and inviting environment so that people from all walks of life feel welcomed,” Pastor Ericka said.

OneChurch focuses on the children in their congregation.

“The children’s ministry is one of our main focus areas. We want them to have an understanding of who Christ is on their level. We want to make it so they really want to come back,’” Pastor Ericka said.

The teen ministry is called T.R.E.n.D. It features chat sessions, outings and community service opportunities. This is a safe place for teens to deal with more complex issues. OneChurch is also passionate about serving the community.

“We are heavily involved in the community. We’ve kind of adopted the community in Progress Village. In November, we will have our Thanksgiving festival there. We will have all kinds of activities. We will feed them and clothe them and just have a wonderful time. We are able to share the love of Christ with them,” Pastor White said. The church holds many community events at Progress Village, Tampa’s first low cost housing suburb. They have outreaches there on the first Saturday of every month. Services are held on Sunday mornings from 10-11:30 a.m. in the auditorium at the Hillsborough Community College, 10414 E. Columbus Dr. in Tampa. The mid-week service, Life Nite, meets Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m. at their administration offices at 1109 Marbella Plaza Dr. in Tampa. Visit
