The David Weekley Homes CARE program is hosting a Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive so those less fortunate may enjoy a hearty meal. Local Dance Studio Raises Money for FSH Society

Fred Astaire Dance Studio hosted a dance-a-thon to raise research funds for the FSH Society. The FSH Society supports families and patients diagnosed with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy, works to advocate for those patients and raise research funds for treatment and therapy. Fred Astaire Dance Studio partnered with student Bobby Budhram for a night of dancing to raise money and show that anybody can dance. Over $8,000 was raised for this cause. Henriquez Earns Certified Florida Appraiser Designation

In less than three years Hillsborough County Property Appraiser (HCPA) Bob Henriquez has earned his Certified Florida Appraiser (CFA) designation. Henriquez, who took the reins of the HCPA in January 2013, received the title after meeting all standards established by the International Association of Assessing Officers. Going forward, Henriquez said he plans to continue to improve his technical knowledge in mass appraisal while fine-tuning the HCPA’s office operations and efficiencies.
