A limo ride, hot air balloon ride, mechanical bull, mobile gaming lab, rollercoaster, and a zipline are some of the things that children at Bell Shoals Baptist Church have enjoyed on the last day of Vacation Bible School in the past. What will it be this summer? Bell Shoals Baptist at 2102 Bell Shoals Rd. Brandon will have its weeklong Vacation Bible School July 18-22 from 8:45 a.m.-12 Noon each day.

The VBS is free and open to all children who will be 4-years-old by September 1 this year through kids who have completed the sixth grade.

The theme this year is Submerged, so batten down the hatches and prepare to be dive deep into the Bible. It will be a week of exploring below the surface. Kids will begin their exploration each day by boarding the “submarine” where they will be submerged in God’s Word. Each day kids will explore what lies below the surface in the deep sea by creating crafts, playing games, enjoying snacks, singing songs, and learning about missions. Kids will discover that Jesus saw people for who they were deep down, not who they appeared to be on the surface.

All completed first through sixth graders will begin the day in the worship center, while preschoolers through completed Kindergartners will go directly to their classes. To learn more and to register go to www.bellshoals.com/vbs.

Tuesday: Torpedo Tuesday (Yellow Submarine) – wear yellow
