Impact Program, Inc. is pleased to announce a partnership with Community Foundation of Tampa Bay (CFTB), an organization focused on connecting donors, nonprofit organizations and community leaders in an effort to make Tampa Bay a better place to live.

The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay grant award helps to provide the financial resources to continue to promote healthy living and relationships to teens through TEEN IMPACT, to parents through the PARENT PROGRAM, and to teachers and other youth leaders through CLASSROOM EDUCATION.

“As of result of the grant award, a Director of Programs & Outreach staff person, was added to further expand the program,” said Angie Kagey, Executive Director of Impact Program, Inc. “We are very excited about our partnership with the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and the opportunities it provides.”

Impact Program, Inc. originated from local pregnancy centers as the prevention services department until 2010 when it became its own 501 (C)(3) organization. Through community partnerships, grants, and donors, Impact Program, Inc. is enabled to reach over 9,500 students each year. Students are educated, equipped, empowered, and supported with the tools necessary to avoid high risk behaviors.

Each summer, TEEN IMPACT Summer Staff students volunteer and obtain over 100 community service hours by presenting peer to peer, skit-based presentations to approx. 40 site locations and to 1,000 students on the importance of avoiding these high risk behaviors. Impact has served our community for over 15 years providing prevention services and healthy choices/healthy relationship education to public and private Hillsborough County schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA’s, Parks & Recreation centers, and community organizations.
