On Tuesday, December 5, NHS Theatre presents the winter showcase at 7 p.m., featuring individual acting and musical theatre acts and the competitive one act The Sandbox by Edward Albee.

After the intermission, NHS will present the competitive one act The Sandbox by Edward Albee, which is an autobiographical play in memory of Albee’s grandmother. Mommy and Daddy (played by Alyssa Readdy and Patrick Maikowski) bring Grandma (Maddalena Camilleri) to the beach at the end of her life. They are joined by The Young Man (Sean Barnette) and The Musician (Tabitha Westrate) on an exploration of family relationships and dynamics.
