There is a Mother’s Day special going on now, which consists of a 60-minute photo shoot for mothers and daughters with an enlarged print for free.

Amber Urioste has always had a passion for photography. She started her own business, A.U. Professional Photography, in 2014 after she moved to Florida. Urioste, a retired art teacher, has a master’s degree in technology and she majored in art as well. “I have always wanted to create and capture beautiful images,” Urioste said.

She started out as a film photographer in the early 90s. She later switched to digital photography to build on her background with traditional photography. Her kids and their friends were her first models. She decided to become a professional photographer when she had success with her work, and her business took off soon after.

Urioste has a boutique studio located at 1521 Highcrest Circle in Valrico. Services include glamour portraits, boudoir photography, modeling and headshots, school photography, family photography, baby and maternity photography, pet portraits and classic automobiles and boats.
She also photographs events and celebrations such as small weddings and family functions. Event videos and slideshows with the photos that were taken are complimentary. She does commercial photography and real estate photography as well.

She specializes in vogue-style photography, or day-long photo shoots where customers are made to look like models. Hair and makeup artists are there to help them achieve the way they want to look. There is a Mother’s Day special going on now, which consists of a 60-minute photo shoot for mothers and daughters with an enlarged print for free.

There are many pricing options, including tier 1 and tier 2 prices, as well as interest-free installment plans. Typical photography prices are in tier 1. With tier 2, you get the whole experience with hair and makeup and a full-day session of getting pampered.

Urioste wants to continue to see her business grow. She wants her customers to have great experiences and, hopefully become their photographer for life. “If they need a break from life and want to be pampered, they can do that and have their photos done as well,” Urioste said.
