Center Place will host its 34th Annual Patron Party, with a theme of Island Style, on Saturday, April 28 beginning at 7 p.m. Center Place has brought back its signature event at Center Place due to popular demand. The evening promises to be a fun-filled one complete with a relaxed tropical themed atmosphere.
Center Place holds the annual event in order to increase patron membership and raise awareness and support for the arts. Lisa Rodriguez, Marketing Manager for Center Place said, “We listened to the community and decided to make the change (from a 5k Run) back to what we are known for, which is a fun patron party.”
Rodriguez added, “We are looking to get more people involved, raise awareness for the arts and increase our sponsors and members.”
If you would like to get involved and support the arts at an organization that has been an avid advocate for the arts for over 40 years, you can do this by attending the Annual Patron Party. Sponsorships go for as low as $100 which gets two guests into the party and up to $1500 for a Platinum Membership.
This year’s Patron Party has a Title Sponsor- Odiorne Insurance Agency. Rodriguez said, “The Odiorne family is a long-time supporter of our art center, in honor of their late mother, Pat Odiorne.” Rodriguez added, “Each year, we present a local high school senior with the Patricia B. Odiorne High School Scholarship. This is given at our March High School Art Show Reception. Pat was very involved at Center Place. She served on the board for many years. She was a great ambassador for the arts, and we miss her dearly.”
