Duncan is a long-time Brandon resident. In fact, Falkenburg Rd. is named after her great, great grandfather John Falkenburg. She graduated from Brandon High School, has been married for more than 26 years to her high school sweetheart and raised two daughters. Duncan spent the better part of her life as a professional photographer in the area for more than 19 years.
“In November of 2016, my oldest daughter got married and my youngest daughter went to college. That left me and my sweet husband rethinking our life,” said Duncan. “I decided that although God had blessed me so much, I was ready for a change. I took a leap of faith and set out for a new beginning with permanent makeup.”
After much prayer and courage, Duncan went back to school at the age of 44 to The Beauty and Health Institute in Tampa. This is the only school in Florida that teaches all three methods of permanent makeup application.
Duncan is certified in these advanced procedures: microblading (hair simulation of eyebrows), lip color enhancement and lip liner, eyelash enhancement and eyeliner, powder brows and hair simulation of the scalp. Some of the industry’s best topical ointments are available for her clients allowing customers to experience very little pain during the process.
Making women feel confident about their looks is rewarding for Duncan.
“I truly believe that what sets me apart is my ‘disease to please,’’ said Duncan. “I treat others, as I would want to be treated. I want to make the permanent makeup experience great from beginning to end.”
The pricing for all procedures can be found on her website with most procedures costing in the range of $300 and the makeup lasts up to two years. Duncan offers $50 off for friends who do their permanent makeup together.
