For Florida transplants Dennis and Lori Napoli, floor care is a family affair. The Cleveland natives moved to Riverview in 2015, and with their two sons (Kevin and Eric) and daughter-in-law (Rachel), founded Gecko Floor Care.
Dennis worked as a floor care professional part-time in Cleveland so with industry expertise and a desire to serve his community, it was a perfect fit for him.
His satisfied customers agree.
“I give shout-outs to Gecko Floor Care on all the community pages and I recommend him to all my friends and family,” said Brandon resident Heather Michael. She knew the family from Riverview Chamber events and first hired his company to clean terrazzo flooring in her home. “I ripped up my carpet to find the terrazzo flooring underneath and he did a great job removing the residual glue and bringing it back to its original luster,” she said.
He later came to her rescue when her father accidentally overflowed his bathtub, leaving the carpeting in his bedroom and part of the hallway soaking wet. “He came immediately and did a water extraction,” she said. “The end result was a dry carpet with no mold or mildew smells.”
She also appreciates his willingness to serve the community. Dennis is a 2018 Honorary Deputy Mayor of Riverview, raising money for Faces of Courage Foundation, a charity that offers free camps and events to people with cancer or blood illnesses.
“We truly like to perform service in our community,” said Dennis.
