cultured THREADS Boutique owner Jaime Martin offers pop-up styling boutiques with fashion & accessories.

Lithia resident Jaime Martin has a self- proclaimed passion for fashion. Originally from Long Island, New York, Martin moved to the Valrico area in 2015. She and her husband Chris, along with their four children, Ella (11), Jace (9), Quinn (5), and Adeline (5) are active community members.

In January 2018, Martin expanded that community connection when she combined her eye for style with a cost-effective way for local women and teens to shop at her small Valrico boutique, cultured THREADS.

“I felt there was a need in the area for trendy and affordable clothing for women,” Martin said. “My boutique is beneficial to the community because I offer the best of both worlds.”

Martin, who previously worked in Risk Management and Public Relations for a Fortune 500 company, is no stranger to the business world.
“By opening a ‘tiny’ boutique I am able to keep my overhead costs to a minimum. This allows me to have an amazing price point while still being able to offer high quality on-trend clothing. All of my customers have the option to purchase online or they can purchase directly from our Valrico location,” she shared.

Everything in the store is hand-selected by Martin including jewelry and accessories. In addition to a wide selection of trendy tops and dresses, Martin offers clients her styling services and assists in finding the perfect outfit. Her try-before-you-buy policy makes her shop more user friendly than other online shopping sites.

“Styling others has always been a common theme in my life. I’ve always felt that our clothing tells a little of our story. It gives a tiny glimpse into our personality and our lives. Sometimes I feel like wearing something bold and other times something simple and comfy. That is the beauty about fashion. It gives us that little boost of confidence or comfort when we need it,” she said.

cultured THREADS pop-up boutiques are also available throughout the community to make shopping as convenient as possible for those who can’t make it to the Valrico store. A schedule is available online. Martin also books private parties and ladies events for businesses and charities.
