Come out and tour three beautifully decorated homes, each with a unique theme, at the 26th Annual GFWC Brandon Service League’s Holiday Home Tour. The tour takes place on Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For 26 years, the GFWC Brandon Service League has been hosting a Holiday Home Tour. This year’s tour will be held on Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a great way to support a local organization that serves the Greater Brandon area and have fun seeing beautifully decorated homes.

Bradlee Swanson with the GFWC Brandon Service League said,
“This year’s tour features three beautifully decorated homes each with their own unique style. Various Christmas collections and themed trees are featured throughout the tour.” Swanson added, “In addition to these lovely homes, our gourmet booth is a must-see with a wide selection of homemade treats and sweets available for purchase.”

This year’s homes are located throughout the area. They include the Jordan home located at 17896 Boyette Rd. in Lithia; the Heatherington home located at 709 Grand Canyon Dr. in Valrico; and the Wilkinson home located at 710 Kingswood Loop in Brandon.

Tickets to the Holiday Home Tour are just $20 each (cash or check). You can purchase them at the Green Boutique located at 1032 Bloomingdale Ave. in Valrico and at Boulevard Salon located at 201 E. Brandon Blvd. in Brandon. You can also purchase them online at www.gfw-cbrandonservice-league.org. There is a $1 convenience fee per ticket.

All proceeds raised during the Holiday Home Tour are given back to the community. The GFWC Brandon Service League pro-vides much needed funding to area non-profits and Brandon area high school art programs.

Swanson said, “This is our 26th year hosting the Holiday Home Tour.” Swanson added, “GFWC Brandon Service League has proudly served the community for almost 60 years. Through our fundraising efforts, we are able to make community donations, hold our Annual Very Special Arts Festival and sponsor the High School Art Show.”

The GFWC Brandon Service League is accepting new members. The GFWC Brandon Service League meets on the second Thursday of the month from September through May (not including December) at the New Hope United Methodist Church located at 120 N. Knights Ave. in Brandon.
