Camp Bow Wow will be hosting a Find Love On A Leash event on April 28 to help rescue and abandoned dogs find new homes

For the very first time, Camp Bow Wow Tampa South Shore will sponsor the Find Love On A Leash fundraising event, which will help find homes for abandoned and stray dogs. This event, happening on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., goal is to get rescue dogs their permanent homes. This is the first year that Camp Bow Wow has sponsored the dog adoption event.

“It is all about the dogs. There are so many adoptable rescue dogs that need to find their forever homes. Our goals are to assist the rescue groups in finding these dogs forever homes, increase awareness about the need for foster homes and raise funds to support the rescue groups with their continued efforts to care for these less fortunate dogs,” said franchisee Doris Darga. “We are looking forward to the event and having the community share in this exciting day.”

Those who attend the Find Love On A Leash event will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of shelter and rescue groups as well as local veterinarians, pet photographers, groomers, pet vendors, trainers and ‘human types’ of businesses. Fun activities that will take place at the event include a pet costume contest, pet photos, low-cost microchips and even a puppy kissing booth.

Food, music, entertainment and door prizes will also be provided by the event. Music will be provided by Sundown and treats will be served by Burger Culture and the Kona-Ice of Hillsborough County. All proceeds from the event will go to three participating rescue organizations, whose names will be drawn during the event.

Camp Bow Wow is the premiere doggy day care and overnight camp, which is designed to provide the highest levels of fun, safety and service for its campers, and peace of mind for their parents.
