Come out and shop without guilt at ECHO’s first Designer Trunk Show and Sale. You will find great deals on new and gently used designer and upscale items for men, women and children. All funds will be used to keep ECHO’s pantry full .

ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization) of Brandon will host its first Designer Trunk Show and Sale on Tuesday, May 1, from 6-9 p.m. at Barnacles located at 926 Providence Rd. in Brandon. The event is free, so if you want to help “Shop Out Hunger,” come out and enjoy an evening of fun and fabulous designer shopping without the designer price.

You can shop without guilt while you look for upscale clothes for men, women and children. There will also be loads of designer handbags, jewelry, shoes and sunglasses. Light refreshments will be provided by Barnacles. There is no better way to spend a fun evening shopping and helping fellow residents in need.

According to Stacey Efaw, Executive Director of ECHO, “This is a fun way to raise funds for the food pantry.” Efaw explained, “Over the summer, we get really busy because so many children are out of school and not getting breakfast and lunch at school. We have to really stock up and this will help us a great deal to provide nutritious food to those in need.” ECHO will also use the funds for its Annual Back to School Backpack event held each August for children in need of age appropriate school supplies.

In addition to shopping for new and gently used designer and upscale items, a $5.00 donation will make you eligible to win one of two great items. Anyone can donate and be eligible to win a drawing for two tickets to see One Direction.

Tickets are available online or at ECHO. The winner will be drawn on May 16.

For those attending the Designer Trunk Show and Sale, a $5.00 donation will get you the chance to win a beautiful, brand new Gucci watch which was donated by a generous member of the ECHO Board of Directors.
Many of the items which will be on sale have been donated by local vendors, board members and other loyal supporters of ECHO.

ECHO of Brandon has been serving the emergency needs of residents of the greater Brandon area since 1987. Each year over 11,000 people are served. 50% of those served are children.
