KellerWilliams0Having served the real estate industry for over 24 years, David and Bonnie Harbaugh pride themselves on putting their clients’ interests first guiding them through what is often the most significant financial transaction of their lives.

“Our clients’ success determines our success,” said David Harbaugh, Broker Associate of Keller Williams Realty South Shore (KWRSS).

David and Bonnie began their real estate practice in 1990 in Denver, Colo. They built a successful practice working initially with local Denver firm Van Schaack, and then RE/MAX.  While working with RE/MAX from 1997 to mid-2006, they achieved major production awards such as the 100% Club, Platinum Club, and RE/MAX’s Hall of Fame (over $1,000,000 in gross commission revenue). Their constant focus on their clients’ best interests gave them the ability to successfully relocate and rebuild their business across the country.

In mid-2006, they brought their wealth of experience to Keller Williams, and are founding shareholders in Keller Williams Realty South Shore, which opened July 2007 as part of Keller Williams Chadwick Group.

“We’ve been blessed with a great team at [KWRSS],” said David, “as we’ve grown from an original 52 agents to over 90 during a period when the real estate market had all but collapsed.”

In their personal practice, David and Bonnie bring the technical skills associated with their prior careers in information management; a focus on details and precision.

“Bonnie is a superb photographer that has been consigned to a life in real estate,” said David. She is responsible for all marketing efforts.

“It’s our job, through pictures, accurate information, and understanding changing technology, to ensure that our client’s properties are found first,” said Bonnie, “by both buyers on internet sites and agents searching our multiple listing service.”

Originally from Kansas, David lived most of his life in Colorado. He holds an MBA from the University of Denver, a Florida real estate Broker license, and designation as both a Certified Distressed Property Expert and Certified Investor Agent Specialist.

Bonnie, a native Floridian, holds both an EcoBroker and National Association of Realtors GREEN designations having completed required training and continuing education on energy and environmental issues that affect residential real estate. Bonnie notes that they chose to invest in a new Apollo Beach franchise because of the projected growth and development in that area. “The majority of our business is in southeastern Hillsborough County, primarily Valrico, Lithia, Brandon, Riverview and Apollo Beach,” Bonnie said.
