La Collina will consist of 292 Mediterranean inspired single-family homes and is scheduled to open in spring of 2015. The houses, located off Lumsden Rd. and Lithia Pinecrest Rd., will be executive and low-maintenances homes with prices ranging from the mid-$200s to $500,000, and varying styles of homes from estate homes, manor homes innovation homes, both one and two story homes as well as lower and upper level owner’s retreats. There will be a variety of different models and designs, including the Gasparilla, Key Largo, Capri and Biscayne floor plans.

Also at La Collina will be a Mediterranean inspired gated community entrance, a dog park for big and WESTBAY_LaCollina-logo-01 1small dogs, open green spaces, and tree-lined avenues. These homes will be within five miles of I-75, the Selmon Expressway, the Westfield Brandon Mall and AMC Regency 20.

There will be a Weekend Sales Event on Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1. Future homeowners will get the opportunity to review floor plans and sign contracts.

Homes by WestBay was founded in 2009 by Tampa Bay homebuilders Roger Gatewood and Willy Nunn. It is a local home building company that focuses in building in its community. It has built homes in FishHawk Ranch, South Fork, Waterset and MiraBay.

“We are locally owned and operated. We stick to building houses in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties,” said Nunn, president of Homes by Westbay, and a FishHawk resident.

“This is a phenomenal site. La Collina will be in close proximity to everything in Brandon,” said Nunn.

The groundbreaking for La Collina was attended by Nunn, as well as the Honorary Mayor of Brandon, Liz Brewer.
