BC_GiveDayGive Day Tampa Bay Set for May 5                                                                                                          Freedom to Walk Foundation is honored to participate in Give Day Tampa Bay on Tuesday, May 5. Give Day Tampa Bay is a 24-hour, online giving event sponsored by the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and Florida Next Foundation to grow philanthropy in the Tampa Bay area. This initiative will provide new opportunities for individual and corporate philanthropy, bolster charitable giving to the Tampa Bay region’s nonprofit community, and heighten awareness of the region’s entire nonprofit sector. Last year, Give Day Tampa Bay 2014 raised $1.1 million in 24 hours. Minimum donations of $25 will be accepted on Tuesday, May 5 at www.GiveDayTampaBay.org. The Freedom to Walk Foundation is in the Health category.  WEDU plans to feature as many as 60 nonprofits during the live show from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.  Donors are welcome to visit the studio to participate in the day’s activities, meet representatives from local nonprofits and take a tour of WEDU.
