The Living Proof Tampa team launched the final push for Living Proof Live, featuring Bible teacher and best-selling author Beth Moore, scheduled for the USF Sun Dome, Friday, June 12-Saturday, June 13. City Coordinator Valerie Bynum detailed the exciting efforts of the Living Proof Live Tampa team as they push to the finish line.

“For the glory of Jesus, we are all working hard to make sure women from all walks of life are invited to come to the Living Proof Live event.  I am humbled and excited knowing that survivors of human trafficking have been provided scholarship opportunities to join other women in worship and learning about their own deeper relationship with Jesus,” Bynum said.  “I also count myself privileged to know the woman who provided scholarships to deaf women so that they too can join their sisters in praising the Lord and learning His ways through Beth Moore’s teaching ministry.”

“One of the most thrilling parts of the preparation leading up to June 12-13,” Bynum said, “has been the Bibles for the Bay project, an effort that has never been tried in the 17 year ministry of Living Proof Live, including any of the other 11 cities hosting Living Proof Live events this year.  The Tampa Team and I felt led that every woman in the Sun Dome needed a copy of God’s word in her seat. That way women who were not familiar with His word or had never been to a Christian Event, will have a Bible when Ms. Beth says ‘open your bible.’”

“The challenge,” Bynum said, “has been to raise the more than $16,000.00 needed to place a Bible in every seat.  But, of course, God has been so faithful.  He provided half the money we needed in a little more than 15 days, and we are steadily working toward the rest of the goal, one obedient donor at a time.  I feel as though I have pulled up a chair, pushed my face against the glass and am watching what He is doing in this project.”

Bynum pointed out the need for women to hurry and purchase tickets since the amount of tickets remaining for the event is rapidly dwindling.

In addition to Beth Moore, the Living Proof Live event also features Dove-award winning musical artist Travis Cottrell who serves as worship pastor of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, Tenn.

Many women in the Tampa area have read and utilized the materials authored by Moore.  She has authored dozens of published Bible studies, books and devotionals specifically for women for nearly two decades, including her most recent, Sacred Secrets and Children of the Day.  Moore’s A Quick Word can be heard locally at 2:25 p.m. on Moody Radio, 91.1.

Living Proof Live starts Friday, June 12, with doors opening at 5:30 for the 7 p.m. start time, concluding for the evening at 9:30.  It starts back up the following morning at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 12:15 p.m.  General admission seating, which covers both days of the event, is $69.
