Proverbs 22:6 says, “Teach a youth about the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Grace Christian School in Valrico has seen record growth in their enrollment over the last two years. This growth has allowed the school to offer college credit courses for the fall semester.

“As our enrollment has grown, we have expanded our course offerings to our student body,” said the school’s Director of Development, Randy Belli. “We have partnered with Southeastern University in Lakeland so our students can take a college course without having to leave our school.”

Teachers from Grace Christian School have become certified adjunct professors as well.

Students of Grace Christian School will be able to choose from college algebra and Old Testament survey for the fall term. Then, for the spring term they will be able to choose from pre-calculus and New Testament survey.

“We are also looking to offer society and sports in addition to intro to psychology for the spring term as well,” said Belli. “Our goal is to continue to expand the college credited courses so that our students may complete a year or more of college before graduation and save them tuition costs in addition to saving them time toward earning their college degrees.”

The educational experience at Grace Christian School is built upon the timeless truth of God’s word, the Holy Scriptures. With this eternal foundation, the school complements the teaching of the Christian home and church. The school shapes the minds, hearts and bodies of its students and instills in them the wisdom, knowledge and servant leadership required to succeed in today’s dynamic and changing world.

Belli hopes Grace Christian School’s enrollment will continue to grow over the next few years so they will be able to add more college credit courses.

“We want to be able to expand our course offerings, while at the same time offer a reasonable tuition rate, so that a Christian education is not outside of anyone’s grasp,” Belli said.
