Pinch A Penny recently gave away $40,000 in cash prizes and $90,000 in automatic pool cleaners in appreciation of their customers and to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary. Pinch A Penny, Florida’s largest chain of pool supplies stores, began in 1974 in Clearwater, and is still owned by the original family founders today. Customers entered the sweepstakes by simply stopping in one of the brand’s 222 locations throughout Florida, Georgia and Louisiana with each having at least one lucky customer winning an Automatic Pool Cleaner. There were also three cash prizes valued at $25,000, $10,000 and $5,000. The $25,000 grand prize winner came from a local Pinch A penny. Barbara McClernan of Plant City hit the jackpot at the Pinch A Penny store, located at 212 E. Brandon Blvd in Brandon.

“We have been assisting Barbara and her family with their pool care needs for years, so it is very exciting that we were able to reward one of our customers and give back to Brandon community,” said Don Zucarelli, owner of the Pinch A Penny in Brandon. “We look forward to continuing to give back for years to come.”

Pinch A Penny also proudly sponsors the Florida Special Olympics as well as the Florida High School Athletic Association.

“We have built relationships with our customers for 40 years and are grateful for every second. We are looking forward to the next 40 and coming up with new ways to get involved and support the communities we serve,” said Troy Lindbeck, director of marketing at Pinch A Penny.
