On Thursday, July 21, The Regent will be hosting their Christmas in July event for the community. They host an event every year for The Way 2 Dance Holiday Charity Ball. The venue is looking to get future brides and grooms to come out to see the venue and offer them the chance to meet The Regent’s preferred vendors. All that is asked is that attendees bring an unwrapped toy for their Toys for Tots collection.

Caterers and bakers will be present and available to talk to and get on-the-spot quotes. People will be given the chance to taste test food from caterers and get to know The Regent and the vendors they prefer. Caters and bakers such as Port A Pit BBQ and Petite Madelyn’s Bakery will be there to let attendees taste their food. DJs, event and wedding planners, photographers, etc. will also be available to chat with attendees and give quotes for a couples’ wedding.

“Anyone looking to book an event in the future will love the fact that they can interact with all of our vendors and get to know them,” Executive Director for The Regent, Julie Juteau said.

The Way 2 Dance Holiday Charity Ball collects toys for Toys for Tots and The Regent wanted to help them collect even more toys. Last year’s event brought in four full boxes worth of toys and Juteau is hoping the event will bring in more toys than last year.

“We themed our event with Christmas in July to put everyone in the spirit of giving,” Juteau said. “We ask everyone that comes to the event to bring an unwrapped toy.”

The Regent’s Christmas in July event is free. Anyone wanting to attend needs to RSVP by Sunday, July 10. You can RSVP by emailing info@experiencetheregent.com. For more information on The Regent, visit www.experiencetheregent.com or visit The Regent at 6437 Watson Rd. in Riverview.
