“Every 20 seconds in the United States, a baby is lost to abortion,” said Jessica Rickenbach, LifeCare Network’s Development Director. “You can take action against the overwhelming devastation of abortion by joining us in our Walk for Life.”

If you would like to support LifeCare’s fight for the unborn, lace up your sneakers and ‘Walk for Life’ on Saturday, May 5 from 9-11 a.m. at the Brandon High School track. The family-friendly event will also include a kid fun run, face-painting, live music, prizes for top fundraisers and more.

Local churches and organizations are encouraged to recruit walkers to raise money through sponsors. You can visit LifeCare’s website at www.LifeCareNetwork.net to register and start raising funds. All funds support the ministry and its Choices Women’s Centers.

LifeCare exists to lead those they serve to know Christ, protect the sanctity of human life and promote biblically based sexuality according to God’s plan for marriage.

Women receive support and services throughout their pregnancy and up to a year after the birth. All services are free and confidential.

“We pray daily to be a woman’s first choice to call or visit when faced with a pregnancy decision,” said Kristen Mosley, LifeCare’s Executive Director. “The Lord continues to overwhelm us with answered prayers, allowing us to administer about 60 pregnancy tests each month.”

LifeCare is the only life-affirming pregnancy clinic in the Greater Brandon area and Ruskin. For more than 30 years, the church and community have supported the ministry, allowing it flourish as it spreads the message of life and Jesus Christ.

Rickenbach said, “This is the one event that we host that is truly a community event—men, women, children and churches. Our goal is to unite the body of Christ—all churches and denominations coming together to stand for life.”
