Music Maker Workshops For Mini-Musicians 

Free workshops for children ages 4-10 to try instruments like a trumpet, flute, guitar, drums, violin and more will take place on the second Saturday of the month October 13, November 10 and December 8 from 9:30-11 a.m.

Charity Golf Tournament For The Brandon Blazers 9U

The Brandon Blazers 9U travel baseball team is hosting a charity golf tournament Saturday November 10 at The CLAW at USF, 13801 N 46th St. in Tampa.  It is seeking foursomes to sign up to play as well as any businesses or individuals interested in being a sponsor. Brandon Blazers Baseball Club is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)3 Organization.

Identity Crisis Conference

Beauty of a Woman Ministry, Inc. will host its My Identity Crisis Conference on Friday and Saturday, October 12-13 at Holiday Inn Hotel, 700 N. Westshore Blvd. in Tampa.

This event is to help girls and women see and accept what is beautiful about them by rediscovering the ‘u’ inside of them. Fourth Annual Beers For Barres

Brandon Ballet kicks off its 25th Silver Anniversary Season with an evening of craft beers, food, and ballet on Friday, October 5 from 7-10 p.m. at The Barn at Winthrop, 11349 Bloomingdale Ave. in Riverview.

The cost (online) is $30 per person and $35 at the door (21 and over) entitling you to a full tasting from local brewers. Cost is $15 per person online and $20 at the door (under 21) for children and non-drinkers. A silent auction will take place.

Plant City Community Chorale Celebrates 10 Years

To celebrate its 10 years of creating beautiful music, the Plant City Community Chorale presents ‘Music on Our Minds: A 10-Year Retrospective,’ on Saturday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, 604 N. Valrico Rd. in Valrico. Now in its fifth year under the direction of Claudia Bolano Becerra, the Chorale has grown, not only in members, but also in its performance level.
