Michael Isaak is uniquely qualified to serve as a County Court Judge. Isaak is running for election in Group 8. He would like your vote on Tuesday, November 6.

Isaak has significant experience. He served as an Assistant State Attorney for five years and has been running his own successful law firm for 20 years. Isaak has tried 150 jury trials, argued thousands of motions and has written 300 appeals.

“From my first day of law school, I have always wanted to be a judge,” said Isaak.
“After 26 years of successful practice, I am in a position where I feel that I can give back to the community and serve as a judge,” added Isaak.

“I believe that everyone deserves to be treated fairly in court. No one should ever walk away from the courthouse and feel that the law was not followed,” said Isaak.
For me, in deciding to run for judge, there was a defining moment when the law was not followed and my client was harmed. That day reaffirmed my belief that there is a need for fairness, and I thought someday the timing will be right to make the move from practice to the bench. That day has come for me,” added Isaak.

When asked what sets him apart from his opponents, Isaak clearly stated, “Morals and values.” Isaak further explained, “My parents came to this country from Israel. They had nothing. They are the epitome of the American Dream,” said Isaak. His mother went on to become the first female attorney at the Tampa office of Holland & Knight.

“The people who influence the candidate for judge are a great tell of how the candidate will act and perform on the bench. I grew up with a great mother as a role model,” said Isaak.

“I have a great work ethic. My morals, values and lessons learned from my parents reflect how I practice law and how I will perform as a County Court Judge,” said Isaak.

Isaak is a member of several local Chambers of Commerce including Brandon, Riverview, Valrico/FishHawk, Plant City and Sun City Center. Isaak is married to Betsy, and they have two children, Sophia and Jackson. Isaak and his family attend Idlewild Baptist Church.
