Located on 10 acres in Dover, surrounded by beautiful gardens and picturesque surroundings, you can hold a large wedding in the elegant barn or a smaller wedding in the new French Country Bed & Breakfast area, which just opened within the last year.

Sean and Bonnie McSharry are the owners of Cross Creek Ranch. Bonnie came out of the interior design world and drives the vision of Cross Creek Ranch. She said, “It’s all about love, joy and beauty expressed; Cross Creek Ranch is truly a dream come true”. If you visit, just look around and you will see the fruits of Bonnie’s labor everywhere. Her attention to detail is what makes Cross Creek Ranch a standout when it comes to wedding choice.

Gary Teaney, Transformational Consulting for Business Owner and Consultant spends a lot of time with the McSharry’s and working with them as a business coach, helping to fulfill their vision of expansion

and growth. Regarding the planning of each wedding and making sure expectations are surpassed, Teaney said, “The goal is to wrap the Cross Creek philosophy around each bride, groom and guest. Bonnie is the driving force behind this.”

Cross Creek’s positive economic impact can be felt throughout the community as over 35 businesses tend to the needs of Cross Creek Ranch. It also has 11 full-time employees along with 60 part-time and contracted workers.

Weddings in general can be a major source of stress to those planning them. Cross Creek Ranch offers turnkey, everything included pricing, which can save you from $10-12,000.

A basic wedding for about 40 people can start as low as $6,995 all inclusive, including DJ, food and basic flower arrangements.

Cross Creek Ranch hosts two to four weddings each weekend from Labor Day through the end of May. The Ranch closes for the summer months due to the heat and rain, using that time for maintenance.

Cross Creek Ranch can comfortably serve up to 250 wedding guests.

The new French Country B&B has four bedrooms and is mostly used for brides and their bridal parties. It’s a beautiful and comfortable place to spend the day preparing for the wedding. Cross Creek Ranch offers transfer service for families who wish to stay overnight at the nearby Sheraton and Hilton in Sable Park. It’s not just the wedding venues that are so attractive. It’s also the little touches. While the ladies are getting ready for their big moment, the guys have their own place, The Man Cave, where they can relax and wait for the festivities to begin. With a big screen TV in the Man Cave, they don’t have to miss their favorite sporting events while waiting. Bridal Assistants help keep everything flowing smoothly.
