Dog Gone HolisticlogoAs society becomes more aware of the importance of eating healthier foods, the same consideration should be taken for four-legged friends so pets can achieve optimal health through a proper diet.

Dog Gone Holistic, the premier health food store for pets, is dedicated to enhancing the quality and longevity of pet’s health, and specializes in holistic and natural foods, supplements and treats. It also carries a full line of dog and cat supplies for all pet needs, such as toys, chews, collars, leashes, beds, apparel, flea/tick prevention and more. Food and supplies for animals other than dogs or cats can be specially ordered.

Dog Gone Holistic will hold its Sixth Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and everything in the store will be on sale that day. Customers will be able to save 10 percent on all dog and cat foods and 15 percent on everything else (except sale items and gift cards).

“Our Sixth Anniversary Sale is our way of saying ‘Thank You’ to all of our loyal customers. We realize people have a choice on where to shop for their pet supplies and we are very grateful many of them choose our store for all their dog and cat needs. We would not be the success that we are without people who are dedicated to shopping local and supporting small businesses in their communities. We provide a niche in the dog/cat world by educating people about holistic pet foods and how the right foods, treats and supplements can prevent and ‘fix’ many of the ailments pets face today. Proper nutrition can really change a pet’s life for the better,” said owner Kim Tom.

Free Goodie bags will be given to the first 100 customers that spend $25 or more. The bags will be filled with treats and food samples, and there will also be a “Golden Paw” hidden inside one of the Goodie bags. The person who finds the “Golden Paw” in their bag will win a $50 gift card to Dog Gone Holistic.

Dog Gone Holistic is located in the Publix Shopping Plaza at 5620 FishHawk Crossing Blvd. in Lithia. It is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and on Saturday’s from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. For more information, call 651-0842 or visit www.doggoneholistic.biz.
