Upcoming 5th Annual Women’s Fashion Show
The Valencia Lakes West Women’s Club will be hosting its 5th annual Women’s Fashion Show on Friday, May 9. It will take place in the social hall, and the women of Valencia Lakes will be the fashion models. It will be raising money for different charities. At the Men’s Fashion Show this past March, the Women’s Club raised $4,500 for local charities.
Board Positions Open For Upcoming Term
Residents living in Valencia Lakes interested in running for a position on the Valencia Lakes West Women’s Club Board (VLWWC), all board positions will be up for election for the 2015-2016 term. These positions on the board will be ideal for someone who would like to make a difference in the Women’s Club, and the current club members encourage interested individuals to get involved and run. All six positions are available for those interested in running during the upcoming election.
The mission of the Valencia Lakes West Women’s Club, located in Wimauma, is to engage in philanthropic and charitable activities. It raises funds for cancer research and gives out several college scholarships to local high school seniors. It holds fundraisers to donate money for women’s shelters, children’s hospitals, local charitable missions, senior citizen facilities and disabled American Veterans.
