Newsome High School Chorus Announces ON THE RADIO. On Friday, November 14 at 6:30 p.m., the talented singers from the award winning Newsome Chorus will perform solos as well as group numbers. They will take guests down memory lane (Dancing in the Street) and back again (Little Lion Man), and other popular songs heard “ON THE RADIO.” This event will help raise funds for the Newsome choral group.

The cost to attend is $5 and the concert will take place in Newsome High School Auditorium, located at 16550 FishHawk Blvd. in Lithia.

On Thursday and Friday, December 4 and 5 the Chorus will hold its annual Madrigal Dinner, which will take place at First United Methodist Church, located at 121 N. Knights Ave. in Brandon.

Donna Tanner, who is in charge of public relations for the Chorus said, “Lord Bogue and his court of Chamber Singers extend to all an invitation to feast amongst royalty and experience the laughter and song of a medieval holiday. Join your fellow townsfolk, for a toast of wassail, and a yuletide banquet of fine food, good cheer, and hearty merriment for a mere pittance of $25 per guest.”

A limited number of tickets are on sale now until Wednesday, November 19. Individuals who would like to attend, please mail in payment to Newsome Chorus, c/o Linda Farella, 6130 Ibispark Dr., Lithia FL 33547.
