Busciglio Smiles Awards Scholarships

Each year Busciglio Smiles has given $500 scholarships to students from surrounding schools. The focus is usually on student athletes. The applying students must have an outstanding GPA, a letter of recommendation from an advisor and write an essay. This year the topic was “student athletes, can they really have it all?” The winners of this year’s scholarships were David Wylie from Strawberry Crest and Emily Harrell From Newsome High School. Wylie will be attending the University of South Florida in the fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Harrell will be attending the University of Florida in the fall majoring in communications. The students received their checks at the Brandon office in May with Dr. Derek Busciglio.

Ashley HomeStore Donates Over 450 Mattresses To Three Non-Profit Organizations

A new bed, and for many in the community, a bed of their own, can make all the difference to sleeping well and overall better health. Last week, Ashley HomeStore donated and delivered 451 mattresses to three non-profit organizations that serve children in foster care and families transitioning from homelessness. As a result of a recent “Buy One, Get One” Ashley HomeStore mattress promotion, those in need can now get a better night’s sleep. For every mattress purchased between February 23 and March 7, Ashley HomeStore donated a bed to The Children’s Home, Metropolitan Ministries, or Devereux non-profit organizations. Dixon Hired To Direct Real Estate Efforts For Team Oney
