The first Food Truck Rally held in FishHawk Ranch last September was such a success that residents look forward to having this new tradition continue with additional Food Rally’s held throughout the year.

The second Food Truck Rally to be held in FishHawk Ranch will take place on Saturday, January 11 from 5-9 p.m. in the Osprey Club parking lot. The event is hosted by Tampa Bay Food Truck Rally. Some of the trucks that will be present at the event are: Alaska Mikes Yukon Fry Bread, American Wiener, Daily Grinders, Der WurstWagen, Dochos, Fat Tortilla, Hott Mess, I Wanna Wok, Jimmy Meatballs, Just Smokin BBQ, Lucias Gelato, Nico’s Arepas Grill and Rollin Zoinks. DJ Jake Dela Cruz will provide the music entertainment while everyone can enjoy eating their food truck favorites or trying new items.

Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome and there will be tables and chairs set up as well. Parking will be available at Bevis Elementary School, located at 5720 Osprey Ridge Dr.

Jenny Carle, FishHawk Ranch HOA Event Planner said, “With the overwhelming success of our community’s first Food Truck Rally, Susan Parvin and I are excited to bring back this popular event.  There will be 15 trucks in attendance as compared to 11 trucks at the first rally.  Whether you’re a Food Truck Rally connoisseur, or you’re new to the concept, you will have a great time and find something absolutely delicious to eat.  We are really looking forward to another successful rally.”  Guests are encouraged to bring your whole family and give it a try. The rally is free to attend, but food from the food trucks is to be purchased by attendees.

Seeds of Hope, Inc., a local organization based in Lithia, will also be on hand to collect canned goods, gently-used sweatshirts, sneakers and blankets. With approximately 250 canned goods, 100 pairs of shoes, and 50 sweatshirts collected at the first rally, the hope is to double those figures this time around. All donations will go directly to neighboring families in need. The next FishHawk Ranch Farmers’ Market will take place on Sunday, January 5 from 9-2 p.m. in Park Square. The Farmers’ Market is open to the public and is free to attend. Over 40 vendors will be participating.
