The Jacob Fowler Memorial Scholarship was founded in memory of Jacob Fowler, a former instructor at Bell Shoals Baptist Church that passed away. Susan and John Prestridge of the Tutoring Club of Valrico were friends of the Fowler’s for more than 20 years and started this as a $500 scholarship for a graduating senior from Bell Shoals Baptist Church. The Fowler family has graciously donated additional scholarships the past two years and over $3,000 in scholarships have been awarded in the last three years.
