Bloomingdale Medical Associates is growing. Dr. Bernardo, a family medical practitioner, has joined its staff, striving to provide comprehensive and high-quality health care to its patients.
Bernardo, who earned his medical degree in 1999 from Davao Medical School Foundation, formerly practiced medicine in Sun City Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and American Academy of Family Physicians.
Located at 13403 Boyette Rd. adjacent to Walgreen’s at the intersection of Boyette and Bell Shoals Rds. and FishHawk Blvd., Bloomingale Medical Associates was formed more than 25 years ago by Jeffrey Wartman, M.D. and is comprised of three internists, two family practice physicians, a cardiologist, two physician assistants and two nurse practitioners. All of its physicians are board-certified.
Bloomingdale Medical Associates offers a full array of services including cardiac stress testing, Holter monitors and 30-day event monitors, pacemaker checks, echocardiograms, ultrasounds, in-house labs, basic x-rays, bone density tests and immunizations.
Physician shareholder Margaret Colleran, M.D., who has been with the clinic since 1996, said, “These services allow the patient to be evaluated in a more comprehensive and cost-effective manner by their personal physician who is familiar with their entire health history.”
